Woodshed Burgers & Hayloft (Edm)

 Woodshed Burgers is ALL BEEF NO BULL! On July 2, 2019 we started as a small, 50-seat restaurant, located in Edmonton’s bustling 124th street area, providing hand-smashed burgers, exclusively using Jeff Nonay’s Holstein beef; ground fresh daily, and prepared to order. Baked items from Bon Ton & Poco Loco.

 Ben and Lenie van Soest came to Canada in 1950 via boat from Holland. They settled in Jasper Place, Alberta (later to become a part of Edmonton). Ben was a meat cutter by trade and worked for Canada Packers until October of 1953, when he then opened his own meat shop. He specialized in cutting meat the European way. I

We are an indoor and year round farmers’ market located in Gasoline Alley in Red Deer County. As an Alberta approved farmer’s market, 80% of our vendors are Albertans who make, bake, grow and sew the products they sell. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday we invite you to meet them in person.
